Week 3 is already here - where has the time gone?

Hi 7 Greeners,

You have all been working very hard.  What a great start to Term 2 - 2014.  This week brings some fun. 

Grammar and English

We will revise Modal Nouns and Adjectives.  Then we will learn about how to use questions marks, exclamation marks and ellipses... Then to finish off we will investigate Abstract Nouns.  We are aiming to have the first grammar test in week 4. 

Persuasive writing
We have got our topics... so this is the time to be researching your topic online.  Are you "for" or "against"?  Discuss it with your parents.  I am sure they have an opinion on your topic. 

Maths

We are starting to look at:

Mean, Median, Mode and Range.  Ms C is going to give you a foldable to help with your understanding on this subject.  But first we will need to consolidate our understanding of fractions to make sure we are up to date with them.  Remember - if you require further help with ANYTHING to do with your school work, I am available to help you on Tuesday 1st Break.  You will need to book this in with me if you would like this to happen.  :)

Religious Education

Mrs C will be continuing her lessons on with St Paul.  You have all done an outstanding effort looking up Biblical references specific to St Paul.

History

We will continue on our journey of Ancient China.  We will also discuss the terracotta warrior head making also.  This is going to be super fun.

Science

This week brings another experiment.  This will have us using Epson salts, water and heat. I wonder what we will be investigating...
