Our Narrative Green Stories

Here is the wonderful work produced by the 7 Green Machine during our Narrative Writing Workshop today.  The students were asked to write a "hook" story starter on a strip of green paper that was then put into our class basket.  Then students randomly picked out the "hook" story starters and were asked to continue on with the story.  They did such a fabulous effort today that I thought the stories needed to be published on our blog.  Well done guys, I could not be prouder.  Let's keep this enthusiasm up for our assessment writing piece... 


The human experiments

This story revolves around four brothers who don’t know that their lives are about to change. One day they were all walking along a street when it happen KABOOM a bomb went it the explosion shook the ground. The boys were thrown back. The boy did not know it but they had just falling into a trap. In a dark alleyway a man laughed to himself “the plan worked, time to collected my prizes”

“What!” screamed the oldest boy Liam “what happen?”

“You are all right” said a metallic voice.

“Who is that “squeaked the youngest Tom

A tall man came out

“I am za fod beattle brockes and you are my science experiment”. “HA HA HA HA”

“Noooooo” they all screamed

Soon you will be my robots he exclaimed

No one ever saw Phil, Bill, Tom and Liam just evil robots.

The Mysterious Sound

The sun’s not up, there’s noise outside. Suddenly, the sun appears in the dark, navy sky, there’s a silent screaming ghost sound right at each person’s ear. The grounds are dirty, the doors are creaking and the town gates are opening ever so slowly. I can hear footsteps, stepping along the dried, rocky dirt road. Suddenly, the wooden house door knob begins to turn carefully. ‘Creak’, ‘creak’ the door is opening, I can hear and feel my heart rapidly pumping inside my cold flesh.

The suspicious man

“Give me your lunch “said a suspicious man

“Help me, help!” Lara screamed in fear. When Lara looked down she saw that the man didn’t have any legs and that’s when her friends Hannah and Katie arrived. They were just in time. The suspicious man suddenly disappeared.

Rocky the lost creature

Long, long ago in a far away land lived a young, lost creature that had no friends or family. She was very tall and had long purple fur. Her name was Rocky and she was eight years old.

Rocky tried to get friends but everyone ran away from her thinking that she was going to hurt them. But one day she found a little boy who was sitting all by himself, so Rocky went over to him and said “Hi my name is Rocky, what’s yours?"

“Hi my name is Tom."

“Hi Tom, do you want to play with me?” asked Rocky.

“Do I ever?” said Tom with excitement. This was the best day of their lives.

The Scary Man

There was complete silence except for a wall clock going “Tik Tok , Tik Tok” over and over with a slight beam of light through the crack in the door. I walked over to the door but it was locked. I panicked.

I tried to get out.  I couldn’t! I got scared. A man walked in, he walked over. I was in fear. He said “ha ha haa , I have kidnapped you and you will never be able to get out.

My last day of freedom

One day I was driving my car down the road. I saw a pretty girl with a suitcase, so I pulled over and picked her up, but then something bad happened. The girl's name was Katie, and it turns out she is a secret agent trying to get me!

When Katie got in my car she quickly got her gear out and tied me up with a pair of skates.

‘Ha, ha, ha, you are mine now!’ she said.

Katie then threw me in the trunk of my car and drove me to a secret location. When I was in the secret location, I found that the whole place was full with top secret gear and loads of roller-skates. I only wish I never picked her up, or I would have been at home drinking tea and watching TV.

The Suspense

There was a cute puppy that was brought into a vet that had an ear missing. The puppy looked as if a man had cut it off! It had bright, droopy red blood dripping down its face. The puppy had no collar, but in its other ear it had a tag that said ‘Bloody Bulldozer’. Could this dog have been in a dog fight?

All of a sudden a man appeared at the window laughing suspiciously, leaving everybody in suspense.

Moonsville

On a dark, stormy night when there was on moon, weird things happen in Moonsville. Then all of a sudden all of the lights in the street and houses turned off, and the moon suddenly lit up. I ran to see my neighbour; she has two kids, I knocked on the door. I heard a strange noise behind me. I looked back, it was Amy’s kids, they looked like zombies!
I keep knocking as they got closer to me. Amy finally opened the door, I quickly ran inside. I looked around, and I saw a lot of things like floors ripped up, blood over the tiles and a dead body on the table. Amy had blood dripping from her mouth. I ran, but there was nowhere to run.

STOLEN     

I am sitting in an old, rusty, grotty, damp and mouldy room all by myself, but I don’t know how I got here. It’s like I’ve risen from the grave or from somewhere. I could see a skeleton with hand cuffs. I touched it and then it turned into dust. Behind it was a secret air vent I climbed through it carefully. I can hear people talking.  
 “Go and find her, she must be caught”.

Then I heard a helicopter whizzing above the building. I clambered to the roof and there it was. A rope dangling from the helicopter. I quickly grabbed it. It slipped from my hands and I fell. I was knocked out. Now someone I don’t know has stolen me from someone I didn’t know either...

The Moon Covered With Blood.

Tom yelled, ”Look out!”

“What? Aaah!” screamed Pearl. A blood-thirsty, flesh-seeking wolf was chasing after Pearl. She ran and ran as fast as her stumpy little legs could take her. Tom was left behind with his wide mouth hanging open, staring at the scene before his dark brown eyes. Pearl and the huge, grey wolf were soon out of sight.

Night came and Tom was snoozing near the warm, crackling fire. When suddenly... rustle, rustle. “What was that?” asked Tom.

No one replied. “ Ha! Ha! Ha!” laughed Pearl.

“Oh, Pearl! You came back!” said Tom feeling relieved. But Pearl was no longer herself, she was now badly scratched, covered with leaves and her mouth was foaming.

“Uh, Pearl?” asked Tom anxiously.

“Luckily I out ran the wolf,” scowled Pearl, “ I gave it a piece of my mind when it came for round two. Hey! Were you snoozing while I was about to die? Since the wolf’s gone, NOW...I’M AFTER YOU!”

“What? Aaah!” Tom screamed, he was no more.

If you ever go to that woods now, and only that woods. Whenever you look up at the moon, you’ll see it covered in blood.

THE FALLING PARK

I was walking along when it happen. There was....... a falling piano, “AHHH”! I screamed. After all I was still alive, until, “AHHH” a flying saucer fell on me. Then an alien came flying out of nowhere. It scared me for a while but actually I ran and I did not stop.

The Skeleton

One day in a dark misty haunted house lived a tall dark skeleton who was a human. The skeleton does everything but sleep in the day. Whenever someone knocks on the door they get scared and run away. Then the skeleton gets upset and doesn’t know what to do.

So he called his skeleton's friends and they said ‘Don’t worry about it and chill out dude. Just have some fun!’’

So that’s what he did. He did have fun. After a while the kids stopped getting scared.

They all lived happily ever after.

Spy Time

It was 9:00am and I woke up and saw a bright light and there was a voice in my head.

“Run, Run while you can” the voice said “Before it’s too late”.

Next thing I know there's a car in my driveway.  A loud knocking noise was all you could hear.

“Quickly sweetie we need to go NOW!” mum said, as she starts to pack my big suitcase.

“Mum, what’s happening?” Lucy said worried.

“I will tell you everything on the way to your Dad’s place”, Mum said.

On the way to Dad’s house Lily, the Mum told Lucy everything.

“Honey you are not just a normal girl you are a secret agent,” Mum said, “just like your Father and I”.

As soon as we got to Jacko’s place (Dad). He came out with a black outfit on and weapons around his waist which is attached to his belt. His house was amazing, all kinds of trap doors and a huge security gate filled with lasers.

“Lucy, my beautiful daughter, how are you?” said Jacko, “Lily my beautiful wife, how are you?”

“Not so good Jacko, you were right, he is here and I told Lucy”, Mum said looking at Lucy like she would never see her again.

She tried dancing like a cool hip hop dude but the guard told her to stop dancing.  Had a jealous look in his eyes.  Kate thought to herself oh he just told me to stop dancing because the group was jealous of how good I was. All of a sudden Katie got kicked out of the group. Katie walked alone on a path that led to another dance group in a park.

Kidnapped

There was once a waterfall protected by the Queen, but on that day the guards and the treasure were missing. The Queen said she heard a man yelling, ``Don’t touch the treasure or the Queen!”

The Queen went outside to see what she could investigate; she knew she shouldn’t because the kidnappers might still be out there. She saw sticks and crunchy dry leaves and a footprint that was as big as her, and she is 190cm tall. Then she walked another three metres and there was another footprint. Then she heard a sound which sounded like a ... well a GIANT!  She started running and she ran straight into a giant, black, hairy tree. With one of the Guards tied to it. Then suddenly the Queen said ``I will save you!”

``No you won't.’’ a voice replied in the darkness.

The thing that kidnapped the treasure was a giant black Gorilla with red blood-shot eyes with the weirdest little hands you ever did see.  The Queen lashed him with a knife.  He dropped dead, all the guards took the gear back to the castle.
